Privacy

Kithland keeps your game on your own device. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and the game sends nothing about you anywhere.

Who we are

Kithland is a game for the web made by Alejandro Pacheco (“we” below). This page covers the game at play.kithland.com and this website, kithland.com. Questions: alepacheco.dev/contact.

What the game stores, on your device

We can't see any of this. Your save never leaves your device: there is no server for it and no copy of it anywhere else. That also means we can't restore it if your browser clears it (see “Deleting your data” below).

What is sent, and to whom

This website

kithland.com is a plain page: no cookies, no forms, no tracking. It has one line of script, which sends an old Home Screen icon of the game (from when this address was the game itself) on to play.kithland.com. If your browser still keeps the game's old offline copy from this address, it removes it the next time you visit.

Deleting your data

Everything is in your browser, so you're in control: clear the site data for play.kithland.com in your browser's settings (or delete the Home Screen app) and the save and the offline copy are gone. This can't be undone.

Children

Kithland asks for no age, no email and no real name. The name you give your character stays on your device.

Changes

If the game ever starts to store or send anything else (an online backup of saves, say), this page will say so first, with the date above.
